Tortoise Talisman

Tortoise Talisman takes after its name: a flashy rendition of a turtle that crawls across the wall, emitting streaks of rainbow energy. Beads and lace are layered throughout the creature, raising its legs and body off of the tapestry as it walks through space.

While taking the form of a turtle, Tortoise Talisman also references vegetal patterns common throughout other Black Masking Indian beadworks. Legs mimic curving plant stems while the form of the turtle’s head and shell mirror leaves and blossoms.
