Hot Date (Ladies of Leisure)

Camella and Virgil Abloh began a conversation in 2019 on the fluid nature of art, design, and fashion. Camella took the beloved but now ubiquitous Eames Lounge Chair Wood (1947) and asked the question: how could it be refreshed?

Using surplus fabric from Abloh’s label Off-White™, Camella designed a series of tongue and cheek slipcovers providing the iconic chair a second life with more frills and thrills in their new incarnation of Ladies of Leisure.
