Flowering Pot

The vase was originally a cufflink on Charles Duvernay’s 2020 suit, and the leaves appeared on his daughter Sadie’s suit apron. Charles sees the vine as a connection between father and daughters, linking family with the culture.

Each work is handcrafted; beads & sequins are sewn one at a time and are subject to variations.
